What is Agroecological Coaching?
Agroecological coaching is different from traditional consulting.
Coaching is about working alongside you to better understand your farming system, identify what's limiting performance and find the opportunities that already exist within your operation.
As coaches we don't pretend to have all the answers, every farm is unique and the people managing it know their land better than anyone. Our role is to ask thoughtful questions, bring a whole-systems perspective and provide the scientific understanding needed to help you make informed decisions with confidence.
Drawing on the principles of agroecology, we look at the relationships between soil, plants, animals, people and farming for the health of all of these components and their interactions.
The goal isn't to create dependence on an expert, but to build your understanding, strengthen your decision-making and cultivate the confidence to manage a resilient and profitable farming system long after we've stepped away.
Together, we explore how these parts influence one another and where small, practical changes can have the greatest impact.
